Clip Lonicera nitida hedges monthly until September to keep them shapely. Clip privet regularly. Clip forsythia & flowering currant hedges after flowering. Spread hessian or plastic sheeting alongside hedges to catch the clippings. In dry weather give newly planted hedges a soaking. Weed & hoe under hedges.
